July Birchbox

Hey Y'all!

 Got a little behind on posting. :( Just been busy and thinking of things to write about. I got my July Birchbox in the mail on Friday! I LOVE getting this box in the mail every month. It truely brings me happiness. This month was pretty cool and had some great stuff.

It came with:
1. Harvey Prince Eau Flirt Lavander Pumkin. Harvey Prince’s signature scent, Ageless, is a youthful burst of grapefruit, pomegranate, ylang-ylang, and sandalwood. Smells great! :)

2. Color Club Nail Polish in Mint. I was so excited to see this in the box. However, It was a huge disappointment.  The color is very pretty ( which is what made be happy at first glance) However, the actual product is not good. It takes several coats and still does not go one very well. :(

3. Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner. I have yet to try this but looks great. :)

4. Alterna Bamboo UV+ Color protection fade-proof fluid. It claims to strengthen dry or brittle strands, but it also helps protect your hard-earned color from sun damage. 


5. Brichbox Exclusive earbuds. They are so cute!! Love these ear phones! 


6. Larbar Ubar. I have yet to eat this little nugget but it looks pretty yummy! :) 


So, the month of July was pretty exciting as far as Brichbox goes! I can't wait to get August box! :)

Happy Monday!! Today has been crazy busy! I like busy cause it makes the day go by super fast. I had a great weekend. Went by way to fast.. Friday went to Dinner and then to see the new Tyler Perry movie ( Madea Witness protection) it was so funny! Highly Recommend it!

Saturday I had a "me" day and went and got my hair colored and cut. Got a kinda new due. I really like it. :)

In Other news.. one of my favorite songs right now is by Mercy Me "Hurt and Healer" This song really speaks to all that I felt during the last two years. Love this song!

High Five Friday!!

This week has gone by so fast! I can not believe it is already Friday and not to mention almost July! Craziness!

1. The HEAT!! Y'all I am from what they call the "deep south" and let me tell ya.. it is HOT!!! It is supposed to get up to 106 on Saturday. Heat down here is also different than heat in other non-southern states. The humidity will take your breath. So, not only HOT but add not being able to catch a breath on top of that. Yeah not fun!

2. My sweet Halle was a sick doggy yesterday. Came home to hearing of her having been sick all day and having to be rushed to the vet to get meds. They checked her out and got blood taken and all that jazz and say she is ok. It broke my heart to see my little one so sick. :(

3. I am so thankful for sweet young college interns at my work. A couple of them will come up and chat with me through out the day. They are such smart young ladies and funny! It brings my heart such joy to visit with them everyday. I am going to be so sad when they go back to their homes and lives come end of July.

4. My Mom and Dad are celebrating their 38th Wedding Anniversary today! They truly have the sweetest marriage of anyone I have ever met! They still act like newlyweds. It is so awesome to have such an example set before me.  So thankful for them!!

I am so excited to see this movie!! I Love Tyler Perry movies and go see each of them as they come out. They make me laugh like no other movies. It comes out today!

Beauty Reviews

One of my favorite things is beauty products. I frequent Ulta at least once a week. I love trying new products and learning new techniques for all things make up and nails. I guess you can call that a hobby right? :/

Well, I had heard so much about a product that I HAD to try it out. I did not want to spend tons on it because well, lets face it I don't have a lot to spend. All this talk about BB Cream was driving me nuts so I went out and grabbed me some.

I purchased the Garnier Brand.  It is tinted and really all you need in one. It moisturizes, renews and has SPF.   There is only two color options. light/medium and medium/dark. I have the light/medium. I was wondering if this was really as great as the hype. Well, let me say it TOTALLY is. I Love this product. It blends great on my skin and is just enough tent to work as a foundation. Most days I don't even us foundation.  If you have oily skin you may not be able to use it everyday. I also try to use less around my oily spots near my nose and such. I will say I have really noticed a difference in my skin. It does seem smoother and brighter. Can not say enough good stuff about this stuff. I will for sure be re-purchasing this product.

My second favorite product right now is this

The Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter. I have 050 Berry Smooth. It is great. Very moisturizing on my lips. Great pigmented color as well.  It is for sure one of my favorite new lip products.


My last favorite product right now is the Revlon PhotoReady Powder. It is great! Coverage is just what I need. It feels great on my skin as well. Really goes on looking the way you want it too. It does not look powdery ( is that a word? :/)  on your face. Would recommend this product to anyone.

  That is it for my favorite products as of right now. I have tried these out for over a month now and can just not say enough good things. Drug store beauty stuff is really coming out with some great competitive products lately.

High Five Friday!

High Five Friday!!


ONE
This is my last week of official "Training" at my job. Starting Monday I will be totally on my own and it is pretty exciting. I am very ready and pretty excited about it. It has been a great 6 weeks of getting my feel of things and being trained. So thankful for good training and a job like this!! 

 TWO
I am SO ready for this weekend. This week has went by so slow for some reason. I am looking forward to sleeping late tomorrow. Which now "Late"  is like 8:30am.  The joys of growing older. :/ Looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Tonight however, will be moving my all my grandmother's things from her apartment to her new home. She is sad to let most of her things go and splitting them among family. I feel bad for her. I know it is so hard!

THREE
Wanting to see a movie this weekend. Any suggestions? I am thinking Brave or Madagascar 3. I know my movie taste is so Adult. ha

FOUR
I am so Thankful for a relaxing easy school semester this summer. I have a very light load compared to what I normally take and Loving it! In the Fall it will be back to it being my Life.

We haven't had any summer showers really this year. I miss them! I was thinking how much I Love showers and storms. They are so relaxing and cool things off a bit. Praying for more of those this summer.

Back to blogging

I am back!!! It has been forever! I have decided to spice this thing up a little and redecorate around there and hopefully start blogging on a regular basis. I hope this will become a place to write out my feelings and thoughts and also be a encouragement to others however God decides to use it.

A little catch up on myself I guess is needed. I am in School working on my degree! God has been amazing through out this experience. Who would have thought this girl with dyslexia could have not only come this far in school but half way enjoy it. God has open doors and also I believe given me supernatural power to accomplish this.  I am working for a company I Love and believe in the work we are doing. It is great working for a place that is actively changing lives for Christ.

This blog is still called Living Plan B because even though I am way better off than I was 3 years ago God is still working in my life. There has been healing and restoration in my life and I know His plan for me is still the same as it was 3 years ago and really sense my birth. I am walking this journey of life as a Christ Follower and hoping my life will shine his name even from the darkest place. Praying one day that hard day and journey 3 years go will used to bring others to him and show people God is still in the business of making all things new!

Feeding Children

This morning I was so lucky to have been able to help out for a great non profit organization. They are a christian organization that helps feed children around the world. Making sure they not only get fed but fed nutritious food that will help them grow and thrive.

There were so many volunteers that all had a job. My job was making sure the soy ( the protein) of the meal was in it's bag. It was like an assembly line of people each doing there job in the name of Jesus!  In just 2 hours we packaged over 28,000 meals for children all over the world.

" Blessed are those who are generous, because they feed the poor."  Luke 22:9


I had such a great time and the Lord really blessed me by just spending time packing up these meals. I pray each child these meals will go too.  I pray God will show his face to them. I pray they will accept Christ as there savior and live to change the world for his kingdom!

Please go and check out there web site. See if they will be anywhere near you where you can help out and serve. If not your church or group can host them and gather up volunteers to pack up meals. You won't regret it.
